Green Hire is a proud family-owned and operated Tauranga-based company.

The business was first started in 2008 by Doug Murdoch with the purchase of one bucket truck.  Doug soon realised that there was a lack of high-reach avocado pickers and height access equipment in the area.  The business now has a fleet of more than 200 machines.

Doug's philosophy was to provide fast, quality service.

As the business grew busier, Doug’s son Andy and Andy's partner Mieka joined the team. Together with Doug, the three of them manage the day-to-day operations.

When you call us, you will be dealt with by one of our friendly staff members who has extensive knowledge of the equipment and its uses.   They will work with you to provide logistics, pricing and also technical support by phone, or on-site.

As the business has grown, we still pride ourselves on being family-owned and operated with a compassionate and professional work environment for both staff and customers.
